San Luis Valley Fair

The San Luis Valley Fair started in 1902. It is a local event for both youth and adults. The fair offers a variety of events and shows, from cake decorating to horse and livestock shows.

The San Luis Valley Fair is run by a dedicated group of volunteers.

BONUS! You can win a gun just by buying an animal at the sale. Salida Gun Shop has offered a 9 millimeter Smith and Wesson with 200 hundred rounds of ammo for a lucky buyer to win. Earn a ticket for every animal you purchase to get in the drawing. A winner will be chosen at the end of the night!
