Who caught Lobo Pole Vaulter, Ariel Ferrell (Santa Cruz HS) in the Monterey Herald? The freshman has broken the Monterey Peninsula College Pole Vault School Record in every competition she’s entered this season improving her personal best to 11’ 5.5”.

Presidents’ Day weekend is quickly approaching which means it’s almost time for the 4th annual Lobo Invitational hosted by Monterey Peninsula College Track & Field. Feb. 14th will be Day 1 of the meet and take place at San Jose City College and contest the Hammer & Javelin Throws. Day 2 will contest the rest of the meet. Registration is live at DirectAthletics.com. This year’s meet will also serve as a preview to the Coast Conference Championships taking place on April 25-26th.
