12-13 hour day at the ball field
8:30am-11:00pm
Tough start yesterday in pool play! These girls went 0-2 and ended up second to last in standings but once bracket play started they flipped a switch! We were in 4th seed of 5 in the silver bracket and we played the best ball all day from that point forward knocking off the #5 seed, then knocking off the #1 seed to play the #2 seed in the championship with an 8-2 lead that got busted at the end to a 9-8 loss!
3 games straight with no rest in between! Super proud of these girls!

I’ll say having two weekends in a row off hurt too! You could tell we should have played last weekend 😅

A sweet slide and scoop performed by our center fielder Jewel this past weekend!
She slid right into this catch,
Glove caught the ground and cause her to flip and she still keep the ball in her hand to get the pop out!
