As a coach, I’m passionate about developing these kids—not just as basketball players, but as young men. I care about their confidence, their character, their work ethic, and who they’re becoming off the court. I’m going to push them, challenge them, hold them accountable, and believe in them when they don’t believe in themselves. And yes… I’m also going to protect my players. I’ll protect their confidence, fight for them, advocate for them, and make sure they know their coach has their back.
Now, fair warning… I am LOUD.
I scream. I yell. I talk. I might even yell when you’re doing something right because apparently I don’t have an indoor voice.
But I promise there’s always a purpose behind it. If I’m yelling, it’s because I care. If I’m pushing you, it’s because I believe you can be better. And if I’m riding you about the little things… well, just know I probably really like you.
At the end of the day, the goal is bigger than basketball.
Develop better players. Build better teammates. Create better young men.
The trophies will collect dust. The lessons won’t.
COMPETE. GRIND. DEFEND.
The work comes first.
