Mizuno River Region Takes Care of Business
After a rough start Mizuno River Region girls handled business this afternoon, shutting out Fury Platinum 4–0. The squad played phenomenal defense, kept pressure on by putting the ball in play, and showed the kind of toughness that comes from battling adversity all season long.
This is the brand of softball that defines this group disciplined, competitive, and resilient. Proud of the way they continue to respond and rise.

The Mizuno River Region squad showed out in Montgomery this past week, competing hard at the Scout Town Showcase Tournament. For a brand‑new team, these girls stepped into a big environment, embraced the challenge, and made the most of every opportunity.
They’re learning each other, building chemistry, and proving they can compete with anyone. The growth we saw from game to game was real, and the future for this group is bright.
