More than teammates. Family!

The Heat was back in action at the USSSA regional tourney at Lagoon Park yesterday! We had a war in our first game against Wetumpka Impact and fell a run short at the end. Battled back and got the 18-3 win over AC Lightning from Alex City. Went into bracket play and got the 11-8 win against 330 Pike Road after being down 6-0 in the first. Moved into the Gold Bracket and battled until the end against Dem Girlz falling short 9-14. Dem Girlz went on to win the tourney. These girls battled, never waivered and had a blast balling all day!!!

The Heat is back at it this Saturday at Lagoon Park!! Let’s goooooo!!

Big Time Players show up in Big Time Moments and our tournament MVP did just that!!! All day she had the outfield locked down! At the plate she was on 🔥!!! Down by 2 in extra innings and she steps up to the plate and hits one 200 to the fence for an inside the park 2 run homer to tie the game and set up the go ahead win! We are so proud of you Ky’Mora!!! Congratulations on earning the Tournament MVP!!!! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

2nd tournament in the books for this newly formed team and already making waves! Battled hard in pool play. Lost a good one to the eventual Gold Bracket Champions. Got into a 3 way tie. Unfortunately got bumped because of run differential to the Silver Bracket. We went back to work and when the game was on the line we WALKED IT OFF AGAIN!!!!! Let’s go girls!!!!
