Joining our coaching staff this year is Colton (aka Boutboard)! Colton and his son Braxton have been with us since day 1 last year. During the chaos of a busy tournament it’s thanks to Colton that all kids are where they need to be and when, and coaches know where they need to be and when. Providing structure during chaos!

One thing about Colton—he is always there for his kids. Whether it’s baseball, cheer, wrestling, or whatever sport they choose, he gives them his time, support, and dedication. Wrestling is no different, and he shows that same dedication to all our wrestlers. He stays and supports everyone no matter how long it may be. In addition, he leads by example when it comes to hard work, discipline, and dedication. Some of Colton’s PRs:

💪 Deadlift — 500 lbs

Proud of the example he sets for his kids and the dad/coach he continues to be.

His favorite thing about Prime is the coaches! You can tell the coaches truly care about each and every kid.

Our first PRIME coach introduction of the season, Coach Aaron Elswick. Aaron is from the infamous wrestling town of Grundy, Virginia. He wrestled his entire childhood and was a high school two time state runner up and placer with 130 career wins. After high school, Aaron spent 7 years in the Navy where he served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Aaron then obtained a masters degree in organizational leadership at SNU. Aaron and his son Johnny are coming back for their 2nd season with PRIME. Aaron’s favorite thing about PRIME is “the hard nosed work ethic, the will to be better in all aspects of life, and that PRIME operates more like a family than a club”. Everyone give a huge shout out to Coach Aaron. We are sure thankful to have him in our room where he is constantly encouraging our kids to do and be better. PRIME thanks you for your service Coach! 🇺🇸

Prime wrestling is giving a HUGE shout out to our Braxton Shackelford. Braxton went and competed at the Firebird Inferno duals this weekend. He went 6-0 and was chosen as the team OW! He had a very tough match in the finals dual, down 8-3 in the 2nd period and had to cut the kid to get the lead back and ended up pinning the kid with 10 seconds left in the 3rd period! Way to go B!!!

Prime made some noise at the Cowboy Rumble! These kids showed grit and heart all weekend and are bringing home the hardware to prove it.
