Arrive and Drive opportunity for SFR!

We are looking for kid karters ages 5 to 8 years of age to take the seat of our number 1 Birel (5 was the old number). $200 per race and will include fuel, tires, and race entry fees. Multiple race signings will also include free practice on our weeks off. This is a perfect opportunity for the youth to get their foot in the door in motorsports which is our number one goal with this arrive and drive program.

We have 11 races available, those 11 races include the remainder of the Ohio Valley Karting Association season starting at race #6 on July 8th, and Wilmington Raceway Park’s August 20th & September 10th dates. Please contact team owner Evan Smoot on Facebook or call (937) 668-5984 between the hours of 10:00a to 8:00p.

Smoot Family Racing went and had some fun teaming up in the dirt for the first time with 741 racing driver Thomas Harville. Both drivers (Evan & Tommy) scored a 1-2 finish in the final exhibition race involving about 5 other karts with faster motors than our Predator Ghost engines made. Evan & Tommy both learned the driving style quickly and became instant threats on the dirt ovals in the near future.

SFR owner and driver will be teaming up with Tommy again, next time for 741 Racing in the Freedom 200 at Wilmington Raceway Park held July 1st, 2023. Be on the lookout for that race as 741 Racing will be fielding three karts instead of their normal one kart operations.

We do a lot more than race karts here at Smoot Family Racing. Owner Evan Smoot made his way down to Talladega Superspeedway to work for Kimmel Racing in the ARCA Menards Series.
