Our #9 🏎️ is not ..at the moment….but race cars can be fixed and replaced 🏁

Chase’s Knee Continues to heal and he is becoming more & more weight bearing everyday from his patella slamming into the steering box at wall impact.
Thankful for OrthoCarolina Sports Medicine team for seeing him quickly this week.

Our I-44 Speedway plans are cancelled this weekend as Chase continues to heal and we begin the #9 🏎️ teardown.

Kara C.'s Photography 📸 shows part of the impact we will share as some of the 🎥 footage is hard to watch.. might post in time.

Extremely Thankful we had the Halo in our non wing set ups 🙌 , it took a hard wall hit.

Thankful for our Bell Racing helmet, The Joie of Seating seat and Simpson Race Hybrid Sport.
Thankful God kept our boy safe w minimal injuries at impact.

Chase hopes to race soonish, but not sure when it will be in our own #9 🏎️.

Saturday night race recap
Non Wing A-Class at Millbridge Speedway

Qualified: 3rd
Heat: turn 1 💥 DNF

Chase was excited for the night and qualified 3rd for his 1st non wing A- class race.
He started 4th in the heat and anticipated the other car to go into turn 1 in a different spot than did and happened too fast to avoid, and hit the right rear and then Just held on and braced for impact.

We want to thank the Millbridge staff and safety crews for their quick response to our driver and thankful for all of the safety on our car including our The Joie of Seating seat, Bell Racing helmet, and Simpson Race hybrid sport.

Chase was evaluated at the Atrium Health Lake Norman ER with an orthopedic follow up today at OrthoCarolina Sports Medicine today on his knee and X-rays all cleared major injuries where his knee slammed the steering box at wall impact. He has a bone bruise into the joint that will heal Soonish and we are thankful for minimal injuries on what could have been a lot worse.

Wed night Race recap at Millbridge Speedway

Heat: 1st 🏁
Feature: 4th

3rd top 5 in a row for Chase and our #9‼️

Chase would have liked to have qualified a bit better but took advantage of our heat, and got the win! He battled hard in the Feature to end the night w a 4th place finish.

We Appreciate the help as always w Thomas Nunley & Factory Fourteen team support and thankful to all our partners who have helped us continue to get better every race.

Next up: Chase’s first non-wing race Saturday pm, weather permitting. 🌧️

Cheering on ThorSport Racing and then afterwards, ready to honor Kyle Busch tonight. 🏁

Just not the same sport without him around. We miss seeing him and learning from him at the dirt track.
