🏁 There are 30 days in June.
Maclan will spend more than a third of them at racetracks.
That's the kind of month we are about to have.
One weekend we will be racing the Dixie Shootout Series in the sunshine of Florida.
The next we will be back at Salisbury for North Carolina Quarter Midget Association (NCQMA) Summer Series and Championship Series races twice a week.
And before the month is over, we will be headed to Indianapolis Motor Speedway for NASCAR Youth Series Crown Jewel event of the year.
That is the thing about racing.
It is not just laps.
It is not just trophies.
It is places.
People.
Road trips.
Stories.
And moments that somehow become memories before you even realize it.
June starts now.

🏁 What an adventure!
When the Daytona weekend was canceled, we had a choice.
Stay home...or point the trailer north and chase an opportunity.
Thanks to an incredible amount of support from friends and family, we were somehow very blessed to make it happen.
More than 1,500 miles traveled. Eight states. A brand-new track. New competition. New challenges.
And one very excited racer.
This weekend, Mac took on Midwest Thunder .25 Quarter Midget Racing Series Race #1 at Little Kalamazoo Speedway Quarter Midget Club, and there is only one way to describe it...
HE HAD A BLAST.
The high banks of Kalamazoo delivered some incredibly fast racing, and this weekend became one of those experiences that reminds us exactly why we do this.
The goal was simple: learn.
Learn a new racetrack.
Learn new setups.
Learn from new competitors.
And Maclan came away better in every category.
🏁 Junior Honda
After shaking off some first-time track nerves, Mac found speed quickly, finishing second in his Heat Race and transferring directly into the A Main.
Starting fourth, he jumped to third on the opening laps and spent most of the race battling near the front. The car was fast, the opportunities were there, and we learned a valuable lesson about being a little more aggressive when those opportunities appear.
After an exciting race, Mac brought home a strong P4 finish out of 16 entries at a track he had never seen before.
We could not have been happier with the result and the notes we gathered for future visits.
🏁 Junior 160
This one challenged us a little more.
We missed on part of the setup early and simply did not have the speed we needed in the Heat Race. The good news? We learned exactly what was wrong.
The better news? The changes we made worked.
When the A Main rolled off, Mac's car came to life.
He charged forward through the field, raced his way into P4, and looked like a serious contender. Unfortunately, contact from another car resulted in significant damage that ended our day early despite our best efforts to repair it in the pits.
The final result was not what we wanted.
The speed, confidence, and progress absolutely were.
That is racing.
🏁 The Bigger Picture
Over three days, Mac traveled more than 1,500 miles through eight states, raced against some tough competition, made new friends, and still made it back home in time for some rodeo fun on Sunday.
And somewhere in between all those miles, we were graciously welcomed in by amazing friends at Faith in The Point Bird Dogs (after giving them 12 hours notice none the less!). One of the greatest blessings God has given us as part of this racing journey has been the people it has brought into our lives. The racing is incredible, but the friendships and memories made along the way are what truly make adventures like this special.
More than a few people told us we were crazy for attempting this last-minute adventure.
They may not have been wrong.
But the memories made it worth every mile.
Now it is time to turn around and head in the opposite direction.
This weekend, we will travel south to New Smyrna Quarter Midget Racing Association for Dixie Shootout Series Race #4.
Two weekends.
Two tracks.
Nearly 2,600 miles.
The best young racers in the country.
And memories that will last a lifetime.
Thank you to everyone who encouraged us, supported us, and helped make this adventure possible. We cannot wait to see what comes next.

🏁 THE JOURNEY CONTINUES.
What started as an unexpected opportunity has turned into an incredible adventure.
After making the decision to head north, Maclan officially made it to Indiana in the wee hours of the morning and we are one step closer to Little Kalamazoo Speedway Quarter Midget Club and Midwest Thunder .25 Quarter Midget Racing Series.
The miles have been long, the road has been busy, and there is still more travel ahead before we unload the cars and get to work at the racetrack.
This is one of those moments that reminds us how special racing can be. It is not just about the laps we turn on the track. It is about the commitment, the experiences, the memories we make along the way, and the opportunities we choose to chase.
There is still a long way to go before the green flag drops, but we are excited for the challenge ahead and thankful for everyone following along on this journey.
A huge thank you goes out to our Faith in The Point Bird Dogs family for accepting a racer into their home in the wee hours of the morning on 6 hours notice! We are blessed to have them as part of our family. God is good!
For those who have asked how they can help support our racing efforts, every contribution helps make opportunities like this possible by helping offset fuel, hotels, tires, entry fees, and travel expenses.
Now it is time to finish the drive and get ready to chase some checkered flags. 🏁🔥

🔥🔥 Now THAT is a race suit!
Check out the incredible new custom-designed Accelo Racewear suit that our good buddy Lucas Pipala Racing will be hitting the track in soon. This thing looks absolutely awesome and is guaranteed to turn heads before the green flag even drops! 🏁
The attention to detail, the colors, the design… I don’t know about you guys, but we think Accelo knocked it out of the park with this one. 👏
Looking sharp, buddy! We cannot wait to see this bad boy in person and watch you put it to work on the racetrack. 💪
Be sure to show Lucas some love in the comments! 👇
Right after getting home from Rocky River Orthodontics today, Lucas's birthday present finally arrived from our new friends at Accelo Racewear!! Looking as cool as S3, Scott Seggi!!
From the smile to the fit, this guy is hard to miss as he's excited to brighten up the track just in time for the Summer Series at North Carolina Quarter Midget Association (NCQMA) to kick off!
Our next race is June 11th - a Thursday night under the lights, no qualifying, no lowers, just all A-Main racing and lots of action!!! In this firesuit, the driver of this Ultimate QM machine powered by Flash Products will be hard to miss!!!!
This fit looks pretty great in front of our pool from The Pool and Patio Company, don't ya think? 😎🤩
Special thanks to Henry Albright Racing for the hookup!!

UPDATE: Team MBMC Racing officially registered for Midwest Thunder .25 Quarter Midget Racing Series at Little Kalamazoo Speedway Quarter Midget Club. 🏁
After Daytona International Speedway was cancelled due to weather, we spent a lot of time debating what to do with an unexpected open weekend. In the end, we decided that opportunities to race against some new (and some we already know) competitors, at a new track, is hard to pass up.
So now comes the hard part...
Making a last-minute trip from North Carolina to Michigan happen. 😅
Between fuel, tires, food, entry fees, and travel expenses, these unexpected schedule changes can become challenging very quickly for a family race team.
Over the past few months, several people and businesses have asked how they could support our racing efforts. Truthfully, this is one of those moments where support can genuinely make a difference.
If you have ever considered partnering with Maclan and MBMC Racing, supporting a race weekend, or helping Mac continue chasing opportunities like this across the country, we would love to connect.
No matter what happens, we are incredibly thankful for everyone who follows along, encourages Mac, shares our posts, and supports this journey. ❤️
Now...time to see if we are heading north. 👀🏁

🏁 CHANGE OF PLANS. NEW OPPORTUNITY? 🏁
What started as a weather cancellation in Daytona may turn into an unexpected adventure for our family this weekend.
We are currently exploring the possibility of making the trip north to compete at Midwest Thunder at Little Kalamazoo Speedway in Michigan.
Racing has a funny way of teaching flexibility, resilience, and sometimes embracing opportunities you never originally planned for.
From North Carolina to Michigan, this journey would mean:
📸 New experiences
🏁 Racing against new competition
🎥 Bringing our followers along for the ride
🛣️ Thousands of miles and memories as a racing family
Sometimes the best stories are the ones you never saw coming.
Making a last-minute trip like this is never easy, but we believe opportunities like this are worth chasing.
As we explore making the trip happen, we would love to connect with any individuals, families, or businesses that may want to help support the journey and become part of the experience alongside us this weekend.
Whether through support, partnership, encouragement, or simply following along, we are incredibly grateful for this amazing community around our team.
One weekend. One incredible opportunity.
Could you be part of the journey?
