Fall break is over. Time to get back to work.

Cleans off blocks. Front squats. 10-yard sprints. Trap bar jumps.

Speed. Strength. Explosiveness.

Here's the thing — anybody can work hard when they're fresh and motivated. The difference is what you do when the routine starts back up.

You don't get better by talking about it. You get better by showing up, attacking the details, and competing every single rep.

The standard didn't change because we took a week off.

Now let's see who can stack good days together.

Today, we took our Exercise Science students outside the classroom and into the world of professional racing.

A huge thank you to Chip Ganassi Racing, Will Plummer, and Greg Miller for giving our students a behind-the-scenes look at strength and conditioning at the highest level of motorsports.

Our students had the opportunity to watch pit crew members and engineers go through their training sessions and see firsthand how strength, speed, power, and preparation translate to performance on race day.

It's one thing to learn about exercise science in a classroom. It's another to see professionals applying those principles in an environment where every fraction of a second matters.

Great experience for our students and a reminder that careers in strength and conditioning extend far beyond traditional sports.

Different sport. Same principles. Performance matters.

Fall break. Open hours. No shortage of work.

Heavy trap bar deadlifts and hang cleans were on the menu this week, with an emphasis on bar speed and power output.

Moving heavy weight is one thing. Moving it FAST is another.

We challenged our athletes to produce as much power as possible, and the numbers gave us a chance to see who brought it.

Check out the Top 5 boys and girls in both lifts.

Appreciate the athletes who took time out of their fall break to come in and get better.

Enjoy the break. Keep raising the standard.

September Athlete of the Month.

These athletes didn’t earn it because of one great workout or one big number. They earned it by showing up consistently, competing, being coachable, and making the people around them better.

That’s what we want Pioneer Performance to be about.

Congratulations to our September Athletes of the Month. Well earned.

Now the challenge is simple: keep going.

We ran some FAST 40s this week.

Then we loaded the bar.

Heavy singles on bench. Heavy singles on front squat. Heavy singles on cleans.

At some point, you’ve got to quit talking about getting stronger and faster and go prove it.

One sprint. One rep. No hiding. Trust your training and compete.

The numbers are getting better. The standard is getting higher.

Don’t get comfortable.

We had some FAST 40 times today!

Homecoming week.

Plenty of distractions. Plenty of reasons to coast.

Instead, Miguel Zarate broke the school Fly 10 record — 0.912.

The rest of the crew kept building. Triples on bench. Triples on front squat. Heavy enough to challenge us. Clean enough to own it.

Next week, the reps come down and the weight goes up.

Enjoy Homecoming. Make some memories.

Then come back ready to move some weight.

10-yard sprints. Weighted chin-ups. Front squats. Seated box jumps.

Speed. Strength. Explosiveness.

But here’s the thing — none of it matters if you don’t do it with intent.

Anybody can go through a workout. We’re looking for kids who attack every sprint, own every rep, and compete every single day.

The standard isn’t what you do when somebody’s watching. The standard is what you’re willing to demand from yourself.

Keep stacking days. We’re nowhere close to finished.

Labor Day weekend.

Everybody likes the day off.
Not everybody respects the work that earns it.

Fly 10s. Front squats. Heavy cleans. Heavy bench.

Speed. Strength. Discipline.

We put in the work all week. Now enjoy the weekend. Then come back ready to do it again.

Rest is earned. The standard remains.

Big week for the Pioneers.

First 40s of the year. Cleans from the floor. Front squats. Compete. Attack. Get better.

But development isn’t just physical. Jessica Wolf came in and challenged our athletes on the mental side of performance. Because if you want to be different, you better be willing to train the things other people ignore.

Mind. Body. Preparation.

We’re not interested in being comfortable. We’re interested in growth.

Keep stacking days.
