Important Jam information!
1. Rental instruments for the summer can be paid for online or in person at the Morganton Rec. Dept. The cost is $30 for the summer and should be paid by June 15.
2. Registration for returning Jam students will be from June 17-July 2. This can be done online.
3. Registration for new students for the fall semester will be held July 15-31.

Morganton JAM is offered through the Morganton Recreation Dept to provide a grass roots musical experience for the youth of the Morganton, NC area.
Morganton JAM is a program for children in Burke County, NC. The program is held two afternoons per week (Mondays and Tuesdays) after school at the City of Morganton Recreation Center on Collett Street. The program is offering a wide variety of classes including fiddle, 3-finger banjo, guitar, mandolin and upright bass. Currently the program serves children in grades ages 7-18 from local schools a

We had a great time yesterday afternoon playing with a band from Nashville, the Sentimental Gentlemen. we were joined by some students from the Caldwell Jam Program along with lots of family members and friends.
Hi Parents and Jam kids! We will have Jam next Monday (if we don’t have bad weather again).  We have missed so many Monday classes due to weather and teachers workday. Next Monday, February 7, will be a regular jam day!
