We are absolutely thrilled and deeply humbled as we look at this weekend’s state championship brackets. This season, every single lacrosse program in our area made a playoff run, and incredibly, every single championship game across our divisions features a team representing Morgantown! 🤯🏆

This amazing milestone is a beautiful reflection of a community that truly loves this sport. It’s a celebration of the unwavering dedication of our coaches, the parents who spend countless hours driving to fields and cheering from the sidelines, and most importantly, these fantastic kids who play with so much heart, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

To all our local athletes stepping onto the championship stage this weekend: we are already so proud of you. Take it all in, play for the teammate next to you, and enjoy every single second of this amazing experience!

WAKE UP, MORGANTOWN! WE’RE GOING TO THE SHIP! 🏆🥍

Our Morgantown Mohawk boys dug deep, played with incredible heart, and secured a massive semi-final win last night. We couldn't be prouder of the grit these middle schoolers showed from the first whistle to the last.

But the job isn’t finished yet. Pack your bags, because we are hitting the road to Charleston this Sunday, May 17th! It’s for all the marbles in an epic 2025 lacrosse championship rematch against the Mountainstate Lacrosse Club out of Huntington. 👀🔥

To the parents, coaches, and our entire MYL family—thank you for the loud and proud support!

Tiny sticks, huge hearts, and a whole lot of ground balls! 🥍✨

That’s a wrap on an incredible Little Scoopers season! From learning how to hold the stick on day one to confidently scooping, catching, and running the field, we are so incredibly proud of the growth our K-1 athletes have shown.

Youth sports are all about building confidence, making friends, and having fun, and this crew brought the best energy to the turf every single week. A massive thank you to our coaches for their patience and to the parents for showing up and cheering loudly! Also, a huge Thank You to Suncrest Elementary for hosting us! 🙌

For our 1st graders, we can't wait to see you level up to the Josh Burleson Leagues next year! And for everyone, the fun isn't quite over yet. We can’t wait to root on our Mohawk teams as they compete in playoffs and celebrate with all of our MYL families at our end-of-season program picnic at Camp Muffly on Saturday, May 30th! 🌭🎉

These athletes have put in the time, effort, and heart to grow not only as players, but as teammates and leaders. From their first passes to leading on the field, it’s been an amazing journey to watch.
