Thursday Nighters on the Des Plaines/Illinois River

Reminder we are back at the DesPlaines tomorrow launching from Big Basin. Be paid and boats in the water by 5pm.

Due to the water conditions on the Illinois and DesPlaines River and more rain in the way we will not have a tournament this week. We will see everyone back at the DesPlaines on 7/2 for our next event.

It was a rough night in the river last night with all of the recent rain it was chocolate milk and the fish didn’t like it at all!!

Congratulations to all that caught fish and especially to those who cashed checks.

We wil be canceling tonight’s tournament due to potential severe weather and water conditions. We will see you next Thursday back at the Basin. Please help me pass this info along.

Severe thunderstorms are predicted for Thursday evening I will be keeping an eye on the weather and we will make a call by noon Thursday on a decision to fish or not.

We had a good 20 boat turnout last night and a good time was had.

Congratulations to Cam and Brett with a nice 12.24lb bag for the win with a 3.19lb kicker for Big Bass. Tony and Tom took second with 11.54lbs.

Reminder this weeks Thursday Night tournament is in Seneca on the Illinois River. Take off is still at 5pm look forward to seeing everyone.

Tomorrow 4/7 is our next Thursday Nighter we will be a s Big Basin meeting at 5pm take off directly after fishing until 8;15. $50 entry fee plus ramp fee of $10.
