Coworker relationships fuel businesses. In fact, it is essential to build strong relationships with your coworkers in order to be successful as a whole.

Creating healthy work relationships allows employees to reach their highest potential as well as lead to higher job satisfaction. So, how do companies achieve this?

There are 3 main factors that work to achieve strong coworker relationships: open communication, trust, and mutual respect. Open and honest communication keeps all employees on the same page which coincides with trust. Trust is built over time and can become quite powerful in the workplace. With trust comes more efficient and effective work via honest communication. Mutual respect gives each employee and purpose and important job. As a team each role is equally important in your overall success, so respect is crucial.

These three key factors are intertwined snd work together just as coworkers are meant to. If these values are held high, coworkers have the opportunity to create lasting and meaningful relationships that extend past the work day. Not only is this healthy, but it makes coming to work each day all the more enjoyable!

Take the time to really think about the goals you want to set and fully commit to them. Reflect on the past year and ask yourself how you can better yourself in the next year on both a personal and professional level. It is key to create goals that are SPECIFIC, MEASUREABLE, ATTAINABLE, RELEVANT, and TIME-BASED. In following this framework you will be more successful in setting realistic goals that you can accomplish.

Here at 42G we recommend hanging up your 2022 goals in a place that you will consistently see them both morning and night. This reinforces your goals each time and will continue to motivate you until that goal is reached.

2022 is going to be an amazing year filled with new experiences and an even better version of yourself. Keep pushing and always continue to grow.

After Thanksgiving, taking a moment to reflect can go a long way. Spending time with your loved ones can often make us take a step back and realize how lucky we truly are. That is what the holidays are all about.

Is it your family, friends, your job, your coworkers, school, your teachers, good health, happiness, or delicious food? Regardless of what it is that you are most thankful for ask yourself why you feel that way? Ask yourself how you can let those involved in your thankful feelings know that you value them. Ask yourself how you can give back to those who do not have the same reasons to be thankful. Spread this feeling because it is something special that everyone deserves to feel.

As the holiday season speeds up, don’t forget to spend a minute feeling grateful at the end of every day. There is never enough time to reflect on this, and trust us when we say it really makes a difference in your life. Your reasons to be thankful are always growing, remember that as December begins.
