Having some added free time lately means rods coming off the bench! Here’s a 6’6” 1wt 3pc finished in red/black Jasper with snake brand lite wires. Built on a James Green salvelinus blank we developed years ago, this is an extremely light, crisp little glass rod that excels in rhododendron tunnels and smaller streams, and is equally at home on panfish ponds. When buying your next glass rod, custom or not, think about where the blank is rolled, where those components are coming from, and who is finishing it.
J Green 7'9" 3wt Heritage Trout "dry fly" rod after first coat of finish. Everything about this rod comes from small US businesses except the cork.

Lots of modern glass blanks in the shop ready for build. From 1wt e-glass to 12wt s-glass rolled in the US, and even an Epic 480 salsa 4pc S2 glass blank, I'm flush with inventory. A few of the new 8'7" 6/7wt and 8'4" 8/9wt blanks remain, as well as a J Green 8'3" 5wt 5pc pack rod blank.
