Still adjusting to only 6” of water meaning go faster…..

We had fun showing our friend the marvelous trout water in the area!

This slammed the fly then gave me a little exercise up and down the river. Size 20 midge, 5x tippet and my lovely husband helped me net it😉✅🎣🙏

Jenny Mayrell-Woodruff and I took the new Smithfly Big Shoals Raft for a float on the Norfork yesterday. It handles and fishes great even with 2 generators running.

We are excited to be moving to the Natural State! Norfork Arkansas... right by the famous White, Norfork and Buffalo Rivers!

********************Update***********************
At approximately 5:00pm, Saturday, December 12, I suffered a major heart attack while on a fishing trip to Arkansas. I dropped to the floor unconscious with absolutely no warning signs or prior symptoms.

Fortunately Jenny and I had just left the river and were in a store when it occurred. A lady with CPR training was nearby and started chest compressions. Jenny went to help with the situation and then saw it was me. She began mouth to mouth and the two of them kept me going with no pulse and not breathing until the EMTs arrived. My heart was in ventricle fibrillation and returned to a normal rhythm after they shocked me with an AED. I had a stent placed to open a completely blocked LAD “Widow Maker” Artery. I am out of the hospital, feeling good and all tests results indicate minimal or no permanent damage to my heart.

Thanks for all of the prayers, well wishes and messages!
