We had an electrician come today and we believe the issue is fixed. But we need to let the water flow through the filter after being still for 15 hours. The Pool will be open tomorrow, Sunday 10/4. Thank you for your patience!

Due to an unforseen electrical issue, the pool and spa will be closed tomorrow, Saturday 10/3. All Swim Lessons are cancelled. We will try our best to have it reopened Sunday.

It’s going to rain who cares. Today is the day we change everything, you and me, at COUNTRY STRONG: A day for LiveSTRONG @ Herman & Luther’s There might be some rain showers, but it doesn't matter because we have so much planned for you. It won't affect you in the least. Furthermore, I need your support, and I need you to come because I need you to support the cancer survivors who call my YMCA home.
Today, you and I can change everything. We can make sure that this program never goes away. But I need you to come. We have 117 baskets. We have amazing silent auction raffle items. Herman and Luthers are going to put out the best food and a signature drink for our event today. All of the vendors are still coming, so you will have fun. Burn a hat, have a cigar, sample some amazing beers, feathers in your hair, face painting, and some of the best desserts around. Not to mention water ice. The cheerleaders and the dancers are going to perform rain or shine. Rocky Allen is playing rain or shine! Maybe you come and throw an axe? It's going to be amazing. It's not going to be a steady rain today. Maybe a shower here or there. But maybe, just maybe, we get lucky. There's absolutely nothing more I can do except this last ask, so I'm asking you now: will you come out to Country Strong today?

I’ll tell you how. $20 dollar raffle tickets? They add up.
Every ticket purchased?? That money goes directly to Livestrong at Eastern Lycoming YMCA.
Where we help survivors every day and every day they help us right back.
In this picture alone? I see 3 Livestrong graduates from over the years. They don’t leave when the program is over. They are never done with us & we aren’t ever done with them.
This picture was taken in May. We threw Rick a surprise party. His cancer might be back but that just makes us want to fight harder, do better.
So we had a party with all the trimmings and Kevin brought his beautiful corvette for Rick to drive. We all yelled & cheered. It was a good day.
We have lots of those. In fact, in all of this craziness planning this event, getting everything perfect so YOU will come, the survivors did a lot of the heavy lifting for me. Vida got me so many empty baskets so I could create baskets for you. While also bringing her own. Sheryl and Vida made the most beautiful basket from the Livestrong Alumni who all donated money to create a basket you will bid on. Mike and Louise and all their pals from YOGA donated 7 baskets.
Rick, my good pal Rick who had to leave our Y for a time as he fights this cancer again, well, he made sure he donated 2 baskets and then DROVE down to surprise us all last week.

This community of ours? You all came through! The baskets are incredible!! YOU DID THIS!!! I am so grateful!

What my team does is important. These survivors are our family. My family and my family needs your help.
We have everything at COUNTRY STRONG: A day for LiveSTRONG @ Herman & Luther’s so you will come. Activities, entertainment, treats, things for the kids. All of it just so YOU might show up and maybe buy a $20 dollar raffle ticket or a $10 dollar teeshirt. Because frankly that’s enough. If everyone comes? We will change the world. All of us,
you, me and the survivors who I love so very much.
