We had a great showing at this weeks Fairgrounds Frenzy!

Denise Wilson brought home a medal for the third straight week with a top 10 finish in the girls grade 3-5 race!

Malcolm Fulkerson brought home his first medal with a top 10 finish in the boys K-2 race!

All of our runners had great races with several setting new personal records! Setting a new PR were:

Malcolm Fulkerson 2000m
Petra Fulkerson 2000m
Gideon Redding 3200m
Charlie Sexton 5000m

We will be back in action at Phil Moore Park in Bowling Green this Saturday for Gatorland!

Saturday at Central Kentucky Run for the Gold our runners faced a huge and fast field and had to deal with both heat delays and a lightning stoppage.

Still a number would have likely set PRs had the course not been a slightly shorter distance and Denise Wilson brought home another medal for a top 20 finish!

We will be back at it again Saturday morning for Fairgrounds Frenzy at the Hardin County fairgrounds in Glendale.

We had another great meet this weekend at the 1st ever Scottie Highlander Classic in Glasgow. On a hot day and a tough, hilly course we had a number of runners set new PRs and Denise Wilson brought home our first medal of the year finishing 5th in the girl’s elementary race.

Setting new PRs were:

Kayden Hamilton 2k
Malcolm Fulkerson 2k
Oakley Jessee 2k
Case Lindsey 3k
Denise Wilson 2k

Likely more PRs coming up this weekend as we run Central Kentucky Run for the Gold in Elizabethtown on a fast course!

Yesterday the Raiders concluded their season at the Region 2 Class 2A meet. These three athletes gave their best ever performance at the most important race of their young careers. This was their first time competing at Regionals! Unfortunately we did not qualify for the state meet, but as much as these Raiders improved over the course of the season, they'll be making the trip to Lexington very soon!!

I'm so proud of all their hard work this season and couldn't ask for a better group of kids. Thank you everyone for supporting and encouraging these athletes!! We'll be back at it in May!

Sorry for the lack of posts recently! Coach has been busy learning how to dad.

The Raiders attended the Bulldog Invitational last Saturday and brought home two PR's and several top 20 finishes, including a 4th place finish!! This race concluded the elementary runners seasons. They improved in every aspect as the year progressed and show unbelievable promise for the future. These young Raiders are going to be a PROBLEM when they get to high school!

The middle and high schoolers will compete on Thursday, October 16th at Grayson County High School. That will be the last middle school race of the season.

HUGE shoutout to Case for his record-breaking run last Saturday! On the last stretch of the race, he was in 6th place, but he kicked it into another gear and passed another runner at the last moment! Please give this young man a high five if you see him in the coming days. Congratz, Case!!!

We had FOUR school records broken today!! These young Raiders are adding to school history! Congratulations Case, Denise, Gideon, and Zoey. Keep on doing great things!!
