End of Season — Part III

The Titans had an outstanding weekend playing in the Game 7 St. Louis World Series. They actually even made Game 7 history! The Titans are the first team to win both the Tennessee Game 7 World Series AND the Missouri Game 7 World Series!
We couldn’t be more proud of how these boys have showed up this season! Here are some weekend and season highlights below!

THIS WEEKEND:
They outscored their opponents 39-3 over the 5 games they played — better yet, they shut out 4 of the 5 opponents. Ben Utterback and Ben Crossley each threw complete game shutouts and Leyton threw a no hitter in the championship game.

A huge shout out the defense overall, but especially the infield defense for making the pitchers lives easier and shutting these teams down!

The pitching staff all together had an ERA of .500 and only gave up 2 earned runs and threw 66% strikes

We outscored our opponents in bracket play 22-0 and made zero errors.

Hitting was on point! Here were some top highlights from the weekend!
Wes had .625 AVG with a .786 OBP (1 HR, 1 3B, 2 2B)

Robert hit .555, Ry hit .444, Aiden and Leyton hit .429, Easton hit .417

We had 3 kids from our team participate in the homerun derby. There were 19 kids total in the 11u division. Utterback and Easton both had some great hits and Leyton was able to hit one homerun and walked away as the winner and a proud new owner of the Tucci Milano bat!
We are proud of all 3 of our boys for representing their team well in this event!

Although we did not get to play nearly as much ball as we had planned this season, due to rain, we are super thrilled to wrap up our season on such a high note and happy with our final results!

We ended our Spring season with 32-6-1 and our full 11u record, with the Fall included was 47-8-2.

For our stats folks, here are some impressive pitching stats from the spring season!

181 IP
194 K / 85 BB
2.97 Runs allowed
61.58 strike %
15.7 pitches per inning
2.55 ERA / 1.298 WHIP
217 BAA

Can’t forget about our Home Runs this season!
We had a total of 34 home runs! Here are our Home Run Club Members and totals:

Leyton: 8
Wes: 8
Easton: 6
Aiden: 4
Utterback: 3
Crossley: 3
Ev: 1
Micah: 1

Last but certainly not least — COACHES —Thank you for always pouring so much time, effort and heart into our boys and this team. The success we have seen this season (and past seasons), the boys growth as players and young men would not be possible without all the hard work you guys put in. The boys respect and look up to you guys. We are so lucky to have coaches who have the desire to pass on all of your knowledge and love of the sport to our kids. Thank you for ALL you do!
We are so lucky to have coaches like yall!
