The VETS (Veterans Expedited TSA Screening) Safe Travel Act, signed into law on January 4, 2025, allows certain Veterans with severe service-connected disabilities to receive TSA PreCheck® enrollment at NO COST.

WHO QUALIFIES?

Veterans who:

✔ Have a qualifying service-connected disability requiring a VA-issued wheelchair or prosthetic limb due to:

Loss or loss of use of an extremity
Full or partial paralysis
Permanent blindness

✔ Are enrolled in VA Health Care

HOW TO GET STARTED

1️⃣ Log in to VA.gov
2️⃣ Download your TSA PreCheck eligibility letter:

Records → Download VA Benefit Letters
Select "Get Your VA Benefit Letters"

3️⃣ Enroll through IDEMIA and provide your eligibility letter during enrollment.

Great news for Arizona Veterans! 🇺🇸
Veterans with a 100% service-connected disability rating qualify for a property tax exemption in Arizona starting in Jan 2027, helping reduce the financial burden of homeownership.

Did you know? If you're a Veteran struggling to reach a 100% VA disability rating and you have federal student loans, there may be a huge benefit available to you.

Veterans who are awarded 100% Permanent & Total (P&T) disability may qualify for Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) discharge, which can forgive their eligible federal student loan debt. In many cases, the entire remaining balance can be discharged.

If you wear braces (knee, ankle, back, etc.), use prosthetics, or prescribed creams for a service-connected condition that damage or wear out your clothing, you may be eligible for an annual payment from the VA. https://www.va.gov/disability/eligibility/special-claims/clothing-allowance/
