We have a couple of Muscatine girls on the stat leaderboards after week 1!

Week 1
We were able to get one of our two games in last night in Cedar Falls before the lightning delays eventually cut our night short.
The girls came out firing in game one against Cedar Rapids Washington and we walked away with a 27-0 win.
Essie Stover started the season with a hat trick (3 tries), Zina Stoltzfus had 1 try and 1 conversion kick, and Miles Detterbeck had 1 try.
Our game against Ankeny will be made up at a later date.
We saw a lot of positives from the girls and saw some opportunities to keep building on. We are looking forward to seeing what this hybrid Prairie-Muscatine team can do this season!
Our next games will be next Monday in Nora Springs.

This fall the Muscatine girls have joined forces with the girls from Cedar Rapids Prairie to help as we continue to grow our club!

This past weekend 4 of our former Muscatine Ruby players saw each other at the college level.
Neco Arceo and Brody Buhman are playing for Iowa State.
Nick Drake-Metzger and Sawyer Newsom are playing for Iowa Central.

This is what this club is all about. We are giving kids an opportunity to learn a new sport and compete at a higher level!

We look forward to following all of your rugby journeys and assisting in any way we can!
