Congratulations again to Parker Reese on his first home run of the season! Parker also got game MVP of the game in Indiana

We settle back in from Crown Point Indiana this week after going 1-3 on the weekend. We played some good teams and learned from a few costly mistakes in close games. Overall had a great weekend trip and are ready to get back at it tonight at Marsh Field. Congratulations to Parker Reese, Beckett Jonas, Braden Mcmanus and Kaline Blackmer for getting game MVPs this weekend!

Game 1- 8-4 loss against BG Bearcats after giving up a 6 run 2nd inning. Brett Lee and Drew Schalk would split the time on the mound. Lee gives up no hits and Schalk gives up 6 over 4 innings. Wyatt Stephenson and Brett Lee each with an RBI.

Game 2- 12-3 loss to Sluggers Academy. Braden Mcmanus gets 2 hits and Parker Reese adds 2 RBIs with a HR. Mcmanus gets the loss pitching giving up 7 hits over 3 innings. Hayes Stansbury and Jack Tumele come in and pitch in relief.

Game 3- Clippers get the 5-2 win over Oswego. Titan Thompson gets the win pitching giving up 5 hits and 2 ER over 4 innings. Reese adds and RBI along with Drew Schalk, Mcmanus, and Thompson adding and RBI.

Game 4- Clippers make it to the semi-finals and would lose again to BG Bearcats after being up 2-1 through 3 innings. We would battle back after giving up 5 in the 4th scoring 3 runs in the 5th before the 9-5 loss. Kaline Blackmer gives up 5 ER over 3 innings and Reese comes in relief. Lee adds 2 RBIs and 2 hits along with Beckett Jonas' 2 hits. Thompson and Stansburg add RBIs.

We head south to Indiana tomorrow to test our team against some really good teams from Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois. Game 1 starts Saturday morning. Follow us on GameChanger. Go Clips!!!

Clippers battled hard today for a bronze place finish. 3rd place out of 19 teams and fell 2 runs short of the finals with a semi final 6-4 loss.

Game 1- Kaline Blackmer throws a gem giving up 4 hits over 4 innings and 1 ER. Parker Reese comes in and gives up 1 hit in 1 2/3 innings and no runs. Down 4-3 in final inning, Deegan Flater gets a double to start inning and Wyatt Stephenson’s sac bunt gets him in scoring position. Hayes Stansbury gets a RBI to tie game at 4 scoring Flater. Brett Lee draws a walk and steals a base. Beckett Jonas hits a walk off single to score Lee in the 5-4 win advancing Clippers to Semi-Finals.

Game 2- Hayes Stansbury gives up 5 runs to get the RBA Ribbies over 3 innings. Jonas goes 4 innings striking out 7 and giving up 1 run. Clippers down 5-3 get a double from Kaline Blackmer in the 6th inning and scores making it 5-4. Ribbies add one in the seventh to win 6-4. Lee goes 2-3 with 2 RBIs in this game.

Clippers go 1-0 on the day and qualify for gold bracket with #2 seed with tournament being shortened due to weather.

Game win 12-0. Titan Thompson goes 4 innings with 1 hit and 0 runs. Drew Schalk goes 2-2 with 3 RBIs and a HR. Hayes Stansubury adds a hit and 2 RBIs and Jack Tumele adds 3 RBIs against Detroit Prospects. Kaline Blackmer, Parker Reese and Thompson each reach base twice in this game.
