Although we have fitness in our name, that is not our main goal. Our goal is to inform people about Congenital Heart Defects. We chose fitness as our outlet to do this. Before Jack we had no clue about CHD’s, this made us realize that only a select few do know.

After being blindsided by jacks diagnosis of d-TGA (d-Transposition of the Great Arteries) we had hope that they would be able to repair his defect. The initial surgery to fix the d-TGA was successful, it was the surgeries and complications afterwards that caused him to have one, or multiple, procedures every day. Although the doctors tried everything they could, they were not able to fix his heart. Jack passed away 3 weeks after he was born. We spent every day by his side and watched him battle every day. He rarely was able to open his eyes, but he could always hold our hand.

We want to support the research that will hopefully, someday, prevent this from happening to other families. Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far, it means the world to us. Warrior Grip keeps Jack’s legacy going and that’s all we can hope for at this point.
