Michigan Sabercats Lusk 10U

Our season has come to an end. This is a great group of girls that work hard and never give up. We ended the season with a Northern Classic Silver division championship. We absolutely love this team and way to battle all weekend. GO CATS💙🥎🖤

We would come up short and learn with a loss 3-2 to an Edge softball team. 2 outs and a runner at 3rd and the batter had a 2-1 count. Time expires and the next pitch we threw down to third and the runner falls and we miss the tag and she runs home and beats the throw at the plate for a win. If these are the type of games we have all weekend then everyone wins because that’s just good softball for 10u!!! Tip our hats to them and we get back after it tomorrow!!! GO CATS!!! 💙🥎🖤

Well the time has come for this great group of girls to play in their final tournament of this season!!! For some are on to other adventures and the rest will be chomping at the bit to get the new team together and get back to work for the Fall season!!! We love this team and it’s been a blast coaching them all!!! 🖤🥎💙!!! We want to say thank you to all our fans that follow us on GameChanger or in person!!! Too many people are focused on winning trophies instead of actually developing athletes.

A ring and trophies mean nothing if the girls leave the game burned out, lacking confidence, or hating softball by 16.

Development, accountability, and team culture will always matter more than rings and trophies that collect dust!!!!
