Injury prevention! If someone was to ask me the reason why I do balance board work besides the mental health aspects of movement meditation it would be injury prevention. I’ve had three major back surgeries. One during my NFL career, one I described in the video early post NFL and the final one was a fusion at L4 and L5 about seven years ago. I’m going to use the balance board for as long as I possibly can to stave off more surgeries, which are sure to come, especially on my knees 💀, as well as any unforeseen potential accidents like the incident I described in the video.
