The problem with being a former instructor of karate is - the instructor brain never stops looking for new drills /ways of teaching technique! Like thus combination - looks basic but great for developing body vibration, snap and speed!

These were the glory days of our dojo in Napa! I missing them for sure.

Great Sunday Morning training with some of our Northern California Shotokan Karate friends, where we broke down fundamentals within Kihon, Kata and Kumite.

Thank you Shotokan Karate Academy of Napa for hosting the event, thank you Benicia Shotokan Karate Academy and Traditional Shotokan Karate Dojo, Sun City Lincoln Hills, for bringing some of your students, and lastly thank you Kassie Fuller from Shotokan Karate Academy, Lehi for attending virtually.

Love this - used to have kids and teens do this in my dojo as a speed and agility exercise except I never played music. More exciting with the music !
