Peotone Blue Devils Boys’ Basketball

The gym is open 1:30-4:00 tomorrow for the first OTI. This is the schedule for the rest of June including OTI’s(Opportunity to Improve). Open to all high school players. You can pop in anytime, get some shots up-do some skill work, and then go home. You cannot shoot too much!

Blue Devils Boys’ Basketball Program had a great 2 weeks so far this summer:
-Varsity had Camp and played in two Shootouts. Lost in the Championship of the Prestigious Braidwood Shootout on Thursday, winning 4 out of 5 games.
-JV had a great 4 days of camp, getting better each day.
-Grades 6-8 had 36 Campers and show great potential!
-Grades 3-5 had 30 Campers and got better each day!
Had a grand total of 86 kids come to Camp.

Just a reminder for our Campers Grades 3-5. This was sent home with all the campers.
WE HAVE CAMP ON FRIDAY!!! GO BIG BLUE!!!

Boys’ Basketball Camp starts this week on Thursday for grades 3-JV(Varsity starts Wednesday). Currently we have 85 boys signed up. Still have room for more, especially at the high school level. I have ordered some extra shirts. GO BIG BLUE!!!

Congratulations to PHS Power Forward Adam Murray. He placed 1st in High Jump with a jump of 6'1" at the Seneca Sectional on Wednesday! He will now represent PHS at the IHSA State Championship meet at Eastern Illinois University on Thursday, May 28th!

Also, the 4x400 Relay set a school record with a time of (3:41.29). Shooting Guard Tyler Walker is the anchor of the relay.

Way to go Adam and Tyler, and Good Luck to Adam next week!!!
