Health and wellness is a lot like love. Hear me out… we all experience and express love in different ways. There is no one way to do it.
In health and wellness there is no one way to become “fit”. Each person responds differently to the options presented to them. Some people thrive on competitions and challenges while others are completely turned off by it. Some people just want the knowledge and tools to go off on their own and others want a more hands-on approach.
If your company has a corporate wellness initiative that reimburses gym memberships and has monthly step challenges that is great, but it could and should be better. There needs to be more options to meet people where they are at and speak to their own personal health and wellness language.

Fix your barbell strict press
The barbell strict press is personally one of my favorite exercises which is why it hurts my soul when I see people jack it up.
A huge part of staying safe through this lift is joint stacking. By this I mean at the top of this movement you can draw a straight line from your wrist down to your elbow and shoulder.
An improper strict press can lead to shoulder discomfort at best and injury at worst.
Don’t make this mistake!
P.s. ignore my neighbors squeaky car... garage gym problems

Weight loss is not always as simple as the fitness industry wants you to believe. I have been seeing a lot of people preaching caloric deficit for weight loss.
Don’t get me wrong, caloric deficit is absolutely necessary as a component of weight loss but in many cases there is a lot more to it.
