Meet David Kwit a participant in the Naperville 10k and the Naperville Sprint Tri:
-Dropped out of college first semester-joined the Army in 1994.
-Diagnosed with stage 3 Hodgkin's Lymphoma in basic training at age 19.
-Underwent 6 months of chemotherapy.
-Given the choice to stay in the Army or leave-stayed in the Army.
-Finished Army requirements in 1997 after serving and completing Finance School.
-Graduated college with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
-Currently works as an Accountant for The Veterans Administration.
-Beautiful wife and 4 lovely daughters who are always there for support.
-Quit smoking 8 years ago.
-Ran The Chicago Marathon in 2017.
-Cancer free since 1995.
-As of 01/13/22 has lost 30 pounds from a 135 day workout streak!
