The Wildcats got back on the winning track today with a huge 16-10 victory over the Aurora Islanders. Since they knocked us out of the playoffs last year, this win was essential to build our team confidence for the long season ahead. We now stand 4-1, alone on top of the conference.

Outstanding pitching once again carried the Cats, led by Pat Fitzmaurice and Jim Wagoner.
The hitting was contagious as big contributions were made up and down the order. Solid defense kept us out of trouble as the Islanders kept climbing back into the battle with their potent lineup.

Our next game is next Saturday at 2:30pm at Tiger Field in Aurora against the defending champion North Stars. They will be thirsty for revenge after losing to us earlier in the season.

Wildcats battled with the Oak Lawn Giants yesterday, losing 8-5. Many solid performances with Pat Fitzmaurice pitching extremely well and great catching from Russ Rachubinski and Gene Zaleski. Bruce Aderman led the offense with 3 hits. We are off until June 2nd when we play the Oak Lawn Blues at 9:30am at Eisenhower High School Field.

Another big win on Saturday night for the Wildcats! Behind shut out pitching by Jim Wagoner and Gerardo Guerrero, the Cats defeated the C**t 45s by a final of 7-0. Rodney Lambert had 3 hits and Russ Rachubinski had 2 hits and 3 RBI. Wildcats are now 3-0 on the young season.

Next game is this Saturday at 9:30am at Eisenhower High School vs the very formidable Oak Lawn Giants.

Wildcats Baseball has started off with a bang. 2-0 on the early season. After a 12-4 win to open the season, we beat the defending champion North Stars yesterday 9-6. Both games were won because of excellent pitching performances by Jim Wagoner and Gerardo Guerrero in Game 1 and Pat Fitzmaurice in Game 2. Bruce Aderman, Mike MacTrinder, Russ Rachubinski, Chris Winston and John Roetter paced the offense with timely hits and rbi.

Wildcats will face off against the North Stars again this Thursday night at 7:30pm at Veterans Park in Westmont. Then we travel down to Midlothian to play the C**t 45s on Saturday night at 8pm. We will play other teams this season too, don't worry!

Wildcats played a 7 inning scrimmage today vs. the OL Warriors at Tiger Field, battling but coming up short by 2. Excellent pitching performance by Dan Markley who kept us in it with 4 very solid innings. Chris Winston had 3 hits and Bruce Aderman had a big 2 RBI hit for the good guys. Thank you to Kevin Battles for filling in and getting a big RBI hit as well!

Wildcats will play this Saturday vs. the Oak Lawn Warriors in an epic pre-season scrimmage game at 12:00pm at Tiger Athletic Association Field. Time to shake the rust off and get ready for the real season, which kicks off on May 2nd.
