These guys had some fun at a local show today. Always good to get them out of their own environment and around some different things.
Their foundation helps them cope with any of these stressful situations well.
Young horse JB was just there for the experience of being out and about. I always like to give them as much of these as possible it makes a big difference down the line.

Today our lesson was in tack. Here the girls are figuring out the parts to a bridle and how to put it back together! Every session they have 20-30 minutes of lesson time out of the saddle learning all things horse. This is where the real horse knowledge is. Riding is the icing on the cake and only about 20% of what we do with horses.

It was time for a visit to the dentist for Sage. She is three and before we start her with a bit we want to be sure her teeth are not causing her any issues. She did great! Swifty also went for his annual check up. Minis can have problems with their teeth so it is important to keep them maintained annually.

May is an exciting month for us. We have the pleasure of having a great friend of mine and an amazing trainer with us for the month. Lisa Fisher of Right Start Horsemanship is amazing! Lisa and her horse Jupiter are staying in Naples for a short time before heading to Wisconsin to escape the summer heat. Lisa has been working with Sage our three year old since February starting her the right way. She is continuing her education here at her own home now. Progress updates to follow.
