Play, joy, and love are biological necessities, and the science is unambiguous. 🧬
Laughter lowers cortisol and epinephrine, crying releases built-up nervous system tension, hugging shifts you out of fight-or-flight and into calm, singing stimulates the vagus nerve (which governs your heart rate, digestion, and immune response) and dancing actually promotes the growth of new brain cells.
These aren’t fringe concepts, this is your physiology responding to joy in real time.
We’ve built entire industries around optimizing food, sleep, and exercise, and those things matter deeply, but joy, play, and love belong in that same conversation.
Think of them as part of your health stack — non-negotiable, not optional, and available to you right now.
Joy IS health.

✨ Today was more than just a Zumba class… it was a celebration of connection, joy, music, sweat, laughter, and the incredible community we’ve built together. 💃🏻🕺🏻✨

Thank you for showing up week after week.
Thank you for trusting me, supporting me, dancing with me, laughing with me, and inspiring me more than you will ever know.
You motivate me to bring my very best every single class, and I hope you know how much light and happiness you’ve brought into my life too. ❤️
As I take a little pause until January 2027, please know this isn’t goodbye… it’s simply “see you later.” You never know, “I JUST MIGHT” pop into a class or two! 😉
Keep moving. Keep smiling. Keep choosing joy.
And never forget - the magic was never just in the choreography… it was in ALL OF US together. 💫
