This is a one-stop website for dining places, events, and attractions, (Like those beaches with showers!) to help you Southwest Floridians figure out where to go and what to do. FelipesBackyard.com is meant to be a compliment to your current marketing program. When this platform was developed, it was meant to compliment existing marketing efforts and drive people to one place that supports the community. FelipesBackyard.com could certainly step in for businesses that need marketing and promotion, with inexpensive monthly packages and the ability to work with Felipe and Chris to promote and brand your business if you need. We’re not just another social media group! The last thing we need is “Another Facebook Group” or another social media platform to pile on top of all the other groups and platforms already out there. What we need is one place to go for the community we live in. Helping local businesses! Putting local businesses on a platform that promotes each one honestly and allows residents in Southwest Florida to seek out dining and activity experiences in one place, we believe helps the whole community. This is not just another directory because we don’t just list a business but allow businesses to be listed by anyone, claimed by the business, and allow businesses to promote their events, job offers, and specials in one community location. We have also removed the drive-by star review system and replaced it with honest reviews of local businesses, which adds authenticity and a real honest view of a business without the bad stigma. Patrons are welcome to leave comments about a business, but we do monitor commenting and discourage bashing without trying to resolve issues directly with a business.
