Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Tonight we will have combined Adult class at 5:50pm and will be Closed Thursday Nov. 26th to Sunday Nov. 29th. Have a safe and happy holiday.

Tournament champions competing last Saturday were all winners at this event. Congratulations to everyone who challenged themselves competing against other AMA students. Thanks to everyone who volunteered to make this day a great success.

Our Collier County Sheriff's Office continue to do an amazing job. 👏👏👏

Here’s more proof that deputies just never know what they are going to encounter on the job.

Dep. Robert Pounds spotted a car doing 63 mph in a 45 mph zone on Airport-Pulling Road around 4:30 this morning, so he conducted a traffic stop. When he approached the car he quickly realized the passenger was in labor and about to deliver a baby.

Dep. Pounds called for EMS and backup, then grabbed a blanket. He delivered a beautiful baby girl and made sure the mom was OK and the infant was breathing. Once EMS arrived they cut the cord, checked out the mom and baby and transported them to the hospital.

It was a busy scene but Sgt. David Drucks managed to take a quick photo of Dep. Pounds with the happy dad.

Help Humane Society Naples raise money to save these animals!

In the aftermath of , 83 dogs and 75 cats are being flown from the Bahamas Humane Society to Florida shelters to make room for displaced animals.

By joining efforts with the Bahamas Humane Society, Florida Association of Animal Welfare Organizations (FAAWO), International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), GreaterGood.org and Wings of Rescue, we are able to increase the capacity of threatened areas in the Bahamas as they continue to feel the pressure of an influx of displaced pets.

Today, we are taking in dogs and cats from Nassau. In order to ensure the health and safety of these animals and our shelter animals, the dogs and cats brought to HSN will need to remain quarantined in our care for at least two weeks before becoming available for adoption.

The transport and care for these animals is an expensive undertaking and we need your help. We need $25,000 to care for and adopt out these animals. With your continued support, HSN will be able to help save these animals from the Bahamas and many more abandoned and injured animals here in Southwest Florida.

Relief Supplies are Needed for the Bahamas!!

Location: 7765 Preserve Lane Suite #1, Naples, FL, 34119.

Our school owner, Debbie Hamilton , will be flying to the Bahamas to deliver resources needed due to the drastic destruction left from hurricane Dorian.

We are asking EVERYONE and their families to please help in the effort by donating relief supplies for her to bring with her.

Here's what you need to know:
1) All donated supplies MUST be brought to the Martial Arts School by Monday, September 9th by 7 PM.
2) If bringing supplies in a box, please write on the outside:
a) all contents
b) final weight
3) All items in containers must be in a Rubbermaid container
4) NO CANNED GOODS

Ex: toiletries, protein bars, cleaning supplies, etc.

Thank you for our community coming together in a time of need!

The Bahamas was unfortunately hit directly by Hurricane Dorian causing devastating damage. Thank you to Venue Naples who is collecting items to send out to those in need!

AMA is closed for Labor Day and will re-open on Tuesday, September 3rd.
