All of us here at Pool Service Unlimited hope that everyone in Dorian's path remain safe over the next few days, and rest assured that we are preparing to take on any after math the storm leaves behind next week. We are off for the Labor Day Holiday on Monday, and will continue to watch the storm closely throughout the weekend to determine when we can safely begin to dispatch our team out into the field again (fingers crossed the disruption will be minimal). Either way, we are committed to recovering every pool affected as efficiently and as safely as possible. With Florida's "Winter" months fast approaching, test out your current heater to make sure everything kicks on and is operating correctly! Similar to a stationary vehicle, the internal mechanics that keep it operating smoothly could become accustomed to not running regularly. This lack of flow could result in faulty equipment, no matter the age or brand name. Ensure you wont be swimming in cold pool water this season! Black Algae Problem? ALWAYS be sure to clean/rinse all bathing suits, toys or floats that have been exposed to the oceans natural salt water prior to getting into your pool (both salt and chlorine pools). The oceans natural salt water will cause the chemicals in your pool water to get out of balance and could cause issues including black algae as seen in the photo below. Black algae can be easily treated by our Quality team using a 3 day process. Call us today to learn more!

This images shows the debris that is in most pools.
We have resumed service on Wednesday (09/13/2017) but due to the damages to pool cages and the debris in the pools itself it takes us over 1 hour per pool to clean.
Our Technicians are working very hard to keep everyone on schedule and we will also work tomorrow (Saturday 09/16/2017) but we will not be able to attend to every pool before Monday (09/18/2017)
We should to be back on track by next weeks Tuesday (09/19/2017)
We appreciate your patience during this difficult time for our community.
We still have no power or phone service at our office but our Technicians are on the road and trying to get to as many of our customers as possible.
