I haven’t been on here (Facebook) much lately.
I’ve been spending more time over on LinkedIn and Instagram… though I’m thinking about showing up here more often 😉.
I’ve been having the same powerful conversation on repeat. Something tells me I’m not the only one feeling this.

My heart aches when I talk to women struggling because I’ve been there. It’s all too easy to slip back into that overwhelm if I’m not mindful of the lies my mind tries to tell me.
But you don’t have to face this alone.

You’ve been giving everything you’ve got, juggling a million things, yet somehow, you’re still left feeling drained and exhausted. 🙋♀️ I get it. I spent years in the same cycle—pushing harder, thinking if I just did more, I’d finally feel better. But it didn’t work.
By my mid-40s, I hit burnout—adrenal fatigue, perimenopause, and the constant feeling of falling behind. I tried every hack, routine, and strategy, hoping one would magically be the solution. But nothing stuck because I wasn’t addressing the root issue. It wasn’t about finding more to do—it was about figuring out what was draining me from the inside out. 🛑
The real change happens when you stop trying to “fix” everything and start reconnecting with yourself. ✨ The relief you’re looking for comes from letting go of what’s not working and focusing on what helps you feel like you again. Once you start uncovering what’s really pulling your energy, things finally begin to shift. 💖

Whew...It's been a hot minute since I was active here. Wowza how my inner world and outer worlds have changed since 2019. I am still partnering with clients to guide them on their Wellness Journey but now also working with clients on a deeper level of Wellness that is more holistic aka Well+Being that touches ever part of their relationship with themselves. Dear Human:
You've got it all wrong.
You didn't come here to master unconditional love. This is where you came from and where you'll return.
You came here to learn personal love.
Universal love.
Messy love.
Sweaty Love.
Crazy love.
Broken love.
Whole love.
Infused with divinity.
Lived through the grace of stumbling.
Demonstrated through the beauty of... messing up.
Often.
You didn't come here to be perfect, you already are.
You came here to be gorgeously human. Flawed and fabulous.
And rising again into remembering.
But unconditional love? Stop telling that story.
Love in truth doesn't need any adjectives.
It doesn't require modifiers.
It doesn't require the condition of perfection.
It only asks you to show up.
And do your best.
That you stay present and feel fully.
That you shine and fly and laugh and cry and hurt and heal and fall and get back up and play and work and live and die as YOU.

Have you heard about the Struggle Bus?
Ever wish you could be free of all the Struggle with
Food, your Body and your Weight?
I was on and off that Bus for years.
I felt like I couldn’t find my way off and it was one exhausting ride.
This is how the cycle went for me…
Every Monday felt like a hopeful opportunity towards freedom.
But Monday comes and goes and I would fall back into old habits.
Then it’s the weekend and who wants to feel deprived on weekends?
Then it’s Sunday night and the guilt, frustration
and desperation set it once again
Rinse and repeat over and over right?
Do you crave for food to be totally a neutral thing?
I did.
To be relaxed and trust yourself with food and social food situations?
I did.
To not freak out about the number on the scale.
I did.
To be one of “those women” who could care less about food and isn’t thinking about the next meal or obsessing?
I did.
To finish dinner and not want a little something after you just ate?
I did.
To not care what everyone else was ordering?
I did.
To finally feel confident and free in the skin I was in?
I did.
It was a long road until I finally found answers
but now I totally understand that the struggle cycle continued
because of my thinking…
I was shocked and in disbelief just like you are right now.
Now I love teaching other midlife women how to get off
the Struggle Bus once and for all
AND actually achieve their dream come true weight.
This is for sure how to STAY stuck…
Continue to think and act like a dieter
Continue to think the answers are in another program
Continue to demonize food, hate your body,
and the number on the scale.
Continue to spin in confusion about it all.
Ladies, this work happens in layers.
It takes patience.
It takes rebuilding trust in yourself and your body.
I takes rebuilding belief in yourself.
It takes rewiring your mindset.
The process of peeling the layers is different for every single woman.
Trying to follow what our bestie is doing keeps us stuck.
Compare and despair keeps you more stuck.
It takes having someone help you see the gaps and gain awareness around your default thinking and triggers.
It takes having someone lovingly hold space yet
NOT let you stay stuck in your stories.
The freedom is in the Inner work which naturally
takes care of all the Outer stuff like the weight.
That’s it. That’s where all the magic happens.
It’s not a quick fix or band-aid,
It’s the road to lasting change and freedom but
Isn’t that what you truly want?
I did.
Are you ready to stop spinning in confusion and running the same patterns with no real results.
I was.
Do you feel ready to do things differently?

I love my work so much.
I get to talk to people all day long about their hopes and dreams.
What I know for sure is that we are NOT put here to live an unfulfilled life in an unhealthy body but instead to create our dream come true life (in whatever unique fashion that might look like for each of us).
I waited many years to live this one dream come true…
To enjoy the sun and beach DAILY (and yes dodge Cleveland winters).
The sun and the ocean ground my soul and I feel so at home walking the beach. Both sunrise or sunset is pure bliss.
I had to choose to take a leap of faith to make that dream come true.
I had to give up all the excuses that got in my way.
I had to go all in on choices that were difficult to make.
It was scary but I trusted it would be so worth it.
I had to also give myself permission to go after the dream. I also got the support of my most amazing life partner. Thank you Will.
I am not a special snowflake ;-) with special circumstances
You can do the same.

I saw this image and it home. I’ve been going through a s**t storm of discomfort this last week. Thankfully I can be the observer and see that my thoughts which always trigger my feelings are what are making me spin in fear around some big ass changes that are brewing in my head. Changes that would require me to be extremely uncomfortable because it’s all unknown territory. We have all been there.
Growth and expansion lies outside our comfort zone and to get there we have to be willing to allow work through fear.
The crazy thing though is we are wired with this survival mechanism that wants nothing more than to keep us safe from the danger and in our cavewoman cave ;-). (Of course in the cave we are wearing our stretch lounge pants and buffering with some feel good behavior.) Anything to avoid doing something that puts us in the throws of fear.
Our emotional primitive brain doesn’t care if we aren’t living our dream life in our dream body. All it wants is comfort, status quo and safety.
Our executive thinking brain wants us to LEAN INTO the dreams we have for ourselves and make them happen. That’s why it’s so easy to plan and NOT so easy to execute.
THERE LIES THE INTERNAL WAR.
If we allow it, the emotional primitive brain will win every time by design. We have to be diligent to calm the fear based thought chatter and let the brain know with our thoughts that all will be fine and that there Is no danger.
We won’t die if we stand up and introduce ourselves to a group or do a facebook live or give a speech. (Reminder to my primitive brain) ;-).
Breaking out of the fear zone to the Learning and Growth Zone is where all juicy, fulfilling stuff happens that makes us feel purposeful. Feeling purposeful is powerful. Notice how the circle expands as we grow and expand.
We must be willing to look fear square in the eyes and do the hard things in spite of how we feel.
BTW, the best way to start to turn around a fear feeling is to change our thoughts. Think fearful thoughts you get the feeling of fear. Try it, it works.
