I'm getting a lot of really good questions today about HIIT Dance that I think are important to share…

Is HIIT Dance like Zumba?
The main similarity between HIIT Dance and Zumba are mostly in the repetition of the steps so the songs are not overly choreographed. This generally makes it easier for everyone to follow along. The main difference is strength training. My goal is to make sure this is not just another cardio workout but one that will help you improve your form, muscle function, balance and endurance.

Does HIIT Dance focus more on burning calories or toning?
HIIT Dance utilizes a dance format but its emphasis is on strength training. I designed this class with a lot of varying intervals. Each one focusing on toning our arms, legs, abs, butt, etc.. There's also a huge emphasis on posture and form to maximize the efficiency of each exercise. This way it's not just about the cardio but rather building lean muscle.
