I just wanted to thank Brad, again, for putting together the amazing award in honor of my Dad, Pete Dudley. My dad had a great time when he was a member of the league and looked forward to his Tuesday nights with the guys. All he ever wanted in life was for the people around him to be happy and to have fun. We hope this award will encourage you all to carry on Pete’s spirit of kindness, humor, and generosity. As you all know, Kerry and John emulate these characteristics of my Dad (their father-in-law) and fully deserve to be the inaugural winners! There is no doubt that you guys have fun…that is the easiest of the requirements to win the award! But we ask, in honor of Pete, that you find ways, every day to “pay it forward” and make people smile. I know it won’t be hard, as Kerry always tells me you are an incredible group! Thanks to you all for paying tribute to my Dad!
