FYI … Saturday we have 3 levels of Cumbia classes in Nashville, with mini-socials towards end of each class.

Interested in Cumbia? If you know some already, join us. Or if you know casino, it is similar. If you know enchufla, I think you could easily lead or follow the Cumbia left turn.

Afterwards, optional field trip to NSD’s Salsa Cafe event for dancing to Salsa, Rueda, Bachata, and a bit of Cumbia. 2:30-4:30 pm at Tempo 🌮 ☕️🎶

Salsa classes in Hendersonville… This past Tuesday night we reviewed and practiced left turns for lead and follow and did some Crossbody lead inside turn variations.

You’re invited to join us next Tuesday night Oct. 6 to learn something new, perhaps a little review, practice to music what you know. 🎶

For the Cumbia con la Luna social, Monarch Migration Celebration is the theme. It’s that time of the year when the monarchs fly to Mexico. ❤️

Wear orange black-and-white if you wish. Write a message to an ancestor and I’ll place them in my monarch butterfly waystation. I’ll have note cards available. 🌺

I have a Monarch Butterfly Waystation where the monarchs stop for refueling and laying eggs on their migration path to and from Mexico. 🇲🇽

We have Beyond Beginner Cumbia class today. Here are some of the things that we’ll be learning and practicing to music … Quebrada, Enredado combo and more. 😊

We normally play Cumbia music, but where I used to dance they would always put on a set of 50’s rock ‘n’ roll in Spanish and people would use their Cumbia moves. It was, as my friend Linda used to say, too much fun! 🤩 🎶
