I intended to post this March 1st but time got away from me. I was cleared to start working out again at 6 weeks postpartum (Jan 17th). I officially started back January 27th. Here are my progress pics from the month February.

Same fight, different round.

It’s like my face was a whole different shape last year lol..
I’m too ready for pool days!

At the end of last year I decided I wanted to be more disciplined and really focus on meeting the goals I’d set. January started off pretty rocky, when February rolled around I made a promise to starve All of my distractions. I made of list of things I would do daily, a list of things I would omit from my routine, and created a schedule to follow.
A friend of mine challenged me to take a progress pic everyday to notated little changes in my body, I added it to my list. Today is day 28 and I must say I am pleased with my progress.
I am learning to just do what I know I need to do regardless of what others are doing, take the good with the bad, and to keep pushing forward. I’ve also been working to replace my instant gratification behaviors with deferred gratification behaviors. Still got some ways to go but I am excited to see the overall transformation!

This week I decided to try to make more than one dish. For my meat I chose salmon because unlike red meats, salmon is a good source of healthy unsaturated fats and is packed with nutrients and protein. Salmon can also help benefit your cholesterol and it’s just really tasty to me lol. For my veggies I wanted to use my air fryer so I picked asparagus. Asparagus are a great source of vitamins and nutrients and they are low in calories! The zucchini noodles became one of my new favorites after the second mealtime Monday so I went ahead and threw them on in too.
