MOVE Inclusive Dance

Batter up, MOVE friends! We’re heading back to the ballpark for one of our favorite traditions!

On September 16th, our dancers will take the field at First Horizon Park for our annual Nashville Sounds pre-game performance! Come cheer them on as they share some of their favorite MOVEs. Then enjoy watching the Sounds go head-to-head with the Memphis Redbirds. It will be a great night of dance, baseball, and JOY!

Teacher Appreciation Month may be wrapping up, but our gratitude is year-round!

Thank you to the teachers who show up, cheer loud, get creative, roll with the unexpected, and make every class a place where our dancers can MOVE, connect, and have fun. We’re so lucky to have you on our team!

7 years ago, MOVE Inclusive Dance opened the doors to one small studio with a big hope: That dance could be a place where everyone felt like they belonged.

Since then, we’ve watched that little dream grow into something bigger than we ever imagined.

More dancers joined the circle.
More families found connection.
More friendships formed in dressing rooms, lobby conversations, 5Ks, classes, and all the little in-between moments that turned into lifelong memories.

What started in Bellevue became two studios, countless performances, and a community that feels like home to so many families.

And guess what? We’re just getting started!!

To celebrate 7 years of MOVE, we’re raising funds for scholarships to help more dancers and families access classes, programs, and performances regardless of financial barriers.

Join us from your living room or wherever you feel most comfortable moving and grooving! On September 1st from 5–5:30 PM CT, MOVE will be hosting a FREE Virtual Wheelchair Dance class, bringing the joy of movement, music, and connection right to your home.

Led by Scarlett Hunter | Wheelchair Lifestyle & Dance Instructor , a lifelong wheelchair user and dancer, this class is an opportunity to move, connect, and have fun together.

All ages are welcome, and no dance experience is necessary. Just bring yourself, find your rhythm, and get ready to dance your heart out.

We’re officially in full-blown recital season! That means costumes, accessories, and all the glitter on repeat.

My favorite view! Keeping our studio and lobby clean, welcoming, and ready for our dancers and families is one of my weekly jobs, and I love making this space feel special for everyone who walks through the doors.
