Well hereโs the dealโฆ cravings are actually a form of ๐๐ ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ ๐ between your body ๐ช๐ผ and your brain ๐ง
Think of it this way ๐๐ผ your body is trying to tell you that it needs something. It might need food, but it also might be something else. Something like comfort, nurture, relationship, movement, etc.
Have you ever stopped to think about it in this way?? ๐ก That in times where youโve overeaten and caved to cravings, you were actually trying your best to respond to the needs of your body!?
Understanding this was a major breakthrough for me and for many of the 1:1 nutrition clients I coach. Once we realize that our bodies are asking us for something, we can tune in, and learn how to best respond. Chances are, there is a much better way than overeating to respond to your bodyโs needs.
