Amelia and AJ have watched Peppa for many, many years and they both have moderate hearing loss. I’m so excited to show them this.

George is growing...and his story is growing with him.💙 We’re embarking on an important new chapter, sharing the news that our dearest George is moderately deaf. In partnership with the National Deaf Children’s Society and Hearing Loss Association of America, we’re airing George’s hearing loss story as he continues to discover the world in his own way - with support, curiosity and plenty of muddy puddles! ☔️ Celebrate this beautiful journey with us in all-new episodes out in March and head to our new YouTube channel, Peppa Pig Sign Language for Kids, featuring content interpreted in both BSL and ASL.

Amelia claims she can hear just fine without her hearing aids. Well this conversation between her and my niece proves that is a lie!!!

AJ’s audiology booth day. Today he raised his hands at the beeps instead of playing with toys. Him and Amelia also had their yearly ENT appointments.

I hate dogs! 🐶 I actually left AJ’s bookbag in my car and Adalyn was so sweet apparently and got it out of the car for him. However she put it right by Zoe!!! can we make dog resistant hearing aids. This is her third pair and she swallowed his molds.

When you’re part of a new hearing aid trial and you get a Dave and Busters gift card so try them out in a loud environment!

We showed his teacher where to store his hearing aids should he take them off and gave her his microphone to feed right into his hearing aids. She put it on straight away!! Yay for Kindergarten!! 🍎 🍏 🦻🏻

Since we are combining Amelia’s and AJs accounts, I wanted to add some of AJs hearing aid pictures here. He got his hearing aids when he was 3 and starts kindergarten next week!

Formally Amelia’s Hearing Aid Charms, we are now Deafinitly Zema! Amelia, her little brother AJ and their dad all have GJB2 related hearing loss. Myself and Adalyn are both carriers for this gene. 🧬
