After a long shutdown due to COVID-19, NorthWood Judo is going to open our doors for JUDO classes once more on August 16. We will have classes on Monday and Thursday at 6:30. To be a member of the club and workout, you must join the United States Judo Association. We practice in the gymnasium behind Grace Baptist Church. Drive around back for entrance. If you do not have a judo gi at this time, make sure you wear a long sleeve sweatshirt and sweat pants. For questions, feel free to email [email protected] or Sergey Barko on FB. Come join the fun!

Good evening all USJA members. As you know by now, USJA is in the process of nominating candidates for our next Board of Directors. We have not had elected Members on the Board of Directors for several years making this a very important election. Each candidate is required to have 100 senior members (sign) their nominating petition. Due to COVID, the process is different this election. You are required to “call” in the names you wish to support.

This process will determine who will be on the election ballot. I am asking you and your club members to ensure your voice is heard by making a special effort to phone in with your selection(s).

1. Dial the USJA Elections line at 838-800-8752. You must wait for the ‘BEEP’ that will follow each instruction.

2. Follow the prompts to enter your membership number and year of birth for validation. Wait for the BEEP.

3. After the BEEP you will then be allowed to record the name(s) of those individuals you want on the ballot and representing you during the election.
