Hold Onto the Truth! Be Encouraged.

So we are all on the same page, let's first define the word, LIE. It means, "A false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive; an intentional untruth." A lie is something that is not true, regardless of how much we feel, think, or how much someone tells us the contrary.

Today, many are still living with the lies that have been hammered into them that they are losers who have no future. You are believing the lie that you are better than your brother or sister because of your race or how much is in your pocket. You are believing the lie that you are alone or less than because there is no significant person in your life. You are believing the lie that your worth is based on what you do or how well you perform instead of simply who you are.

Hear me on this. We cannot control what others do. However, we can choose how we respond. Remember “We Get What We Allow”

You can do this!

Crisis will always reveal a person's True Character.

Tell me if this scenario sounds familiar. You're at work or church and sister Hookfin or brother Jojo suddenly starts talking about you like a dog to others or has an obvious problem with you but is not courageous enough to come to you to discuss the issue.
You check yourself and wonder what you did for this person to react in such a way. Often we will feel hurt and then turn that hurt into anger and want to yell at the person or take something out on the person.
Let me encourage you to have a different point of view. When people have problems with you and you have earnestly searched and believe you have not done anything offensive do a reality check. Try to reason and confront the person kindly to see if you've done something wrong.
If they still refuse to deal with you and cowardly go to everybody and Santa Claus except you, shake it off. The deeper issue has absolutely nothing to do with you. They are dealing with some pain or issue that is about them. You just happen to be the closest person for them to try to take it out on. Be the bigger person and don't allow their pain to be projected when you. It's their issue not yours. Don't carry someone else's bags who refuses to lift them up for themselves. Be encouraged. You can do this.

Be Encouraged. Don't waste your time trying to defend your character or trying to prove yourself to those who want to bring you down. Only those who know and love you are worth your time and energy. Your worth is not measured in the opinions or words of others. It is measured by your created value as a person. Don't lower yourself to satisfy the pain of others.

Have You Ever Considered…FEAR? - Charlotte D. Hunt - Executive Coach, Speaker, Award-winning Author What Is Fear? Fear is the belief that something or someone poses a threat—real or imagined. It lives in the present (“someone’s following me”) or the future (“how will I feed my family?”). Often, it’s not truth but perception—False Evidence Appearing Real—that drives our reactions....
