"Wemby, what happened out there tonight?" a reporter asked during the postgame press conference following the Spurs' collapse of a 29 point lead in Game 4.

Wembanyama blinked with egg on his face.

"Did... did you just throw an egg at me?"

The reporter nodded.

"Yeah, that was me. Welcome to New York. But my question isn't about the egg that hit you in the face thirty seconds ago. It's about the game and this series."

Wemby stared at him.

"Is... is nobody gonna do anything about this? He just threw an egg at my head."

He looked around the room for a ref.

The room sat in silence for nearly a minute. Another reporter threw an egg but it missed wide right.

Finally, another reporter raised his hand.

"My question is likewise unrelated to the egg that hit your face Wemby. It's actually about this new egg I'm holding, that hasn't been thrown yet."
