So Donovan really blamed it on the a a a a a alcohol!
Donovan Mitchell really attributed his historic seventy-one point masterclass to a New Year's Eve celebration. He admitted that having a few drinks the night before was the absolute exception to his usual pre-game routine.
“We played them on New Year’s Eve. Then we had New Year’s in Cleveland. Then we played the next day. Now I will say this. I’ve never drank before a game in my life. It was New Year’s. So I did have a drink, a few drinks the night before the game. Never done that in my career. Haven’t done it since. So I tell people like that was probably what, you know, allowed me to have the night I had.”

BREAKING: The NBA concluded its 11-month salary cap circumvention investigation today, handing down historic punishments against the Los Angeles Clippers for facilitating "no-show" corporate endorsement deals for Kawhi Leonard.
While the league stripped the Clippers of five consecutive first-round draft picks, issued a $30 million fine, and suspended owner Steve Ballmer for one year, Leonard avoided a suspension. Instead, the two-time Finals MVP was ordered to pay $700,000 in restitution to the league as he officially prepares to move forward with his career and return to the Toronto Raptors.
Leonard's uncle was issued a 5-year ban by the league as well as other team officials in the decision.

I feel like no matter what your opinion or favorite team in the NBA is, we have to agree that the New York Knicks have really rocked the championship merch and artwork game. And that's not even the bodega t-shirts cuz I'm not even there to see that other than what I see on videos.
I'm still happy I chose them as my non-homer team to have a good season last year. Y'all remember that right Sports Idiot Nation?
