3 Days. 3 Tracks. 3 States. 3 Jobs. 3 for Dale.
Man who can complain about that. Mya has been very busy but she has been living the life.
Day 1: Thursday March 19th, Millbridge Speedway, North Carolina, Driver
Mya went to Millbridge Speedway right after work. She went to just hangout and check out some dirt karts. In true racer fashion she brings her race gear everywhere she goes. I mean you never know when you can be given the opportunity to drive. Well she got that opportunity. She got asked if she wanted to test out a flat kart. She was hesitant at first but then thought about how valuable seat time is. She hopped in two different karts and had a blast. She realized she doesn’t mind getting dirty 😉 and might have an announcement coming soon.🤫🤫🤫
Day 2: Friday March 20th, Darlington Raceway, South Carolina, Engineer Intern
Mya went to Darlington Raceway as an engineer intern with Rackley W.A.R. This let her experience what it’s actually like to be an engineer on a race day. During the race she got practice recording feedback and changes.
Day 3: Saturday, March 21st, Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, Tennessee, Driver Coach
Mya got a call on Thursday and got told that her sister, Kayla was gonna be in a bandolero on Saturday. She made a few phone calls and said “all right i’ll be there”. She wanted to surprise her dad so she left early Saturday morning and made it right after the second round. As soon on as she got to the track she immediately went up to her dad. Man was he shocked. After Mya said hey she immediately got to work. She gave Kayla some driver notes while she got ready. With Mya’s help she gained 7 tenths. Wow! Overall it was a great day!

What has Mya been up to?
Now you might be wondering why she hasn’t been in a car much recently. Mya has been focusing on her studies. If you did not know she is attending Columbia State Online now working on getting her Associates of Science Degree. Mya is only 3 months away from graduating. She completed her first internship at War Shocks in December. She just recently moved to North Carolina so she can attend the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in August. She will be majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration of Motorsports. While finishing up her Associate’s degree she will be interning with a NASCAR team through the spring.

September 21st
Man this day is really tough.
September 21st, 2020. This was the day my grandfather Steve Eatherly passed away. It’s been rough since but I know he’s watching over me. I know he would be proud with all I have accomplished.
September 21st, 2024. Double Header at Highland Rim. I dedicated this night to Pop. He truly was my biggest inspiration with racing. The first feature, I had a major wreck. Yes it really sucked but I did not stop there. No matter how much I was hurt physically and mentally I pushed through. I finished that feature and the next. I wanted to make Pop proud of me. I know he is no matter what though. After that night I really struggled to get in the right headspace. I would not have don’t it without the most amazing team by my side. I would like to thank Tristan Thrasher, Donna Thrasher, Mike Curran, and everyone with . They not only helped me get my car ready to go race but they helped me find the right headspace. I would like to especially thank not only my teammates, not only my best friends, but my brothers and for always being there for me no matter what I was going through. You guys truly mean the world to me. I’m not done yet. I would not be able to do any of this without my dad Josh Eatherly. Everyone is truly blessed to have you in their life. I’m the luckiest one because I get to call you my Dad and my best friend. I would also like to thank my family. My mom, Theresa, brother and sister, Jackson and Kayla, Grandmother, Darcy and the rest of my family. I would also like thank Dan Ford for all that he does. He is also a HUGE inspiration of mine. He was Pops best friend so he means a lot to me. He helped me get started and he makes sure to show up and be present whenever he can.
Thank you everyone.
And with that, I would like to change my number to 21. This number resembles the day I show my strength and can get through anything.

my favorite part about race days is not only hanging out with my teammate but my best friend so proud of my bestie for all that he has accomplished this season. he is one of the best people to be around. it means a lot to call him my love ya

Last weekend we decided to hop in our 14 rental car and shake it down. The original plan was to just practice on Friday. We decided to do a motor swap Friday morning and couldn’t quite get it done in time for practice. We pushed to get it out for qualifying to find we had a brake issue and did not make a qualifying attempt. We still wanted laps so we pushed to get it ready for the race. The Driver Development worked and we Tristan was still welding the brake pedal in the pits as the Star Bangled Banner was playing.
We made it to the grid just in time to start dead last P15. The green flag was going to my first laps ever in this car. The plan was to ride for couple laps and feel the car out. Immediately we knew we had good speed and after a few cautions we were mid pack.
The car handled great utilizing our set up. We kept the nose clean and brought home a P6 finish (possibly P5 still under review).
Thank you to who all makes it happen every week.

Race 3-5 were at the Fairgrounds and if there was a wreck we were in it. We spent most races fighting for track position.
I posted a video of a wreck on the backstretch that damaged our right front so we just had to ride around to finish that race. After repairs we went out for Race 4 only to find out there were more problems with the front end.
For the final race we knew we still had front end issues but fixed it the best we could. Unfortunately a wreck in front of us midway through the race took us out. To make matters worse we found the full front clip and rear clip were damaged beyond repair.
Thankfully a fellow racer had a brand new chassis for sale at the track so the RaceChoice #12 is being rebuilt as we speak on top of a new chassis to get ready for next week. The PTR/Landon Thrasher Racing shop is busy this week.
Congratulations to all of the winners at Nashville. Everyone worked so hard to get there.
Congratulations to our PTR teammate Landon Thrasher for winning 4 out of 5. Bentley Thompson on finishing 4th in the series and our good friend Carson Sherman for his top 5 in points at the series.
We are really looking forward to getting the new car on track this weekend at Highland Rim.

Race 2 we again had good speed and were cruising to a top 8 finish when we were dumped by another car with 3 to go. Things happen but it was very disappointing.
After this race we found our motor was laying down and we had to go to a back for the last 3 races.

Inex Spring Series came and went and thankfully I got to see some of the best drivers in the country not to mention some great friends. Unfortunately, our results were not what we had hoped.
We started at Highland Rim with good speed.
Race 1 we battled up to 7th and had some great racing with #9 and #4.5 until we broke a clutch bell and had to retire. It never really got better.
Thank you:
