Build Sisu exists to reduce the number of low-income individuals living in high risk situations by creating pathways to empowerment through employment.

Sisu is a Finnish word that roughly translates to the idea of having resoluteness in the face of adversity and having a fighting spirit– you don't give up until you are dead and death is the only thing that can destroy you.
