what a weekend at my first LRCA finals

Me and Annie won money in every single round so we won 3rd in the 1st go 4th in the 2nd and 3rd in the 3rd round

We brought home a little over $4000 dollars, 2nd in the average , and barrel racing rookie of the year so so blessed to win all that at my very first finals

Plus being the youngest contestant there and competing against some really nice horses

I’m so proud of Annie with handling everything so well and I can’t wait to see what all we do together as a team

Thank you to everyone that came and watched me and video me, cheered for me, took pictures with me and supported me through out the whole rodeo season

Huge shoutout to Lacey Dunn because no of this would be possible without you thank you so much for all you do for me and my horses

Thank you Erin Hajek for the amazing horse/ athlete/ princess you trusted us with

Thank you to all my sponsors that helped me get here

so happy I got the opportunity to do a quick fun interview with you!!

me and Annie laid down a beautiful run last night in round 1 at our first Lrca finals

We finished 3rd pulled and good check and placed with girls that are at the top

I’m very proud with Annie even with me almost falling off at 2nd but ultimately very grateful just to be here

Annie loves rodeos just like this with big lights and loud crowds so this was perfect for her

Thank you so much Erin Hajek and Lacey Dunn for the amazing horse

We will have high school rodeo today and hurry back for round 2 tonight can’t wait to see what we get done

Fyrefly being the underdog this weekend and winning both days at high school in Melbourne Arkansas

We ran in slack this morning and had a amazing run of a 16.3 which was good enough to win the Saturday performance

And we came back this evening and I knew I was sitting good for the average buckle so I knew I had to keep the barrels up and leaving first barrel I thought my saddle was going to come off

Thankfully it didn’t but I started to safety up for my own safety and going to third barrel I wasn’t kicking so Fyrefly got a little short and my years of running barrels couldn’t help but noticing if I just leaned over a little bit it wouldn’t take much to set the barrel back up

No we didn’t come off which I’m grateful for but me and Fyrefly ended up with the average win and won our first buckle together and my first high school buckle and bringing home a little over $350

I’m very happy with both of my horses and so grateful I have such a powerhouse of a team to accomplish anything I put my mind too

WHAT A WEEKEND FROM MISS ANNIE

this is my very blessed and hard earned weekend recap

Leesville Friday night Lrca me and Annie won it by .2 and pulling us a nice check

Buna tx Saturday Annie had pulled a shoe earlier that morning so I was a little hesitant on running her but Annie was acting fine so i decided to run her and at the beginning of the year me and Annie would’ve won this rodeo but we hit 2 barrels so I’m very happy to come back and won it but she ended up winning it by .6 and pulled a nice check

Me and Annie won our very first buckle together at leesville and Annie won me my very first Lrca rodeo not once but back to back nights

I’m so proud and most importantly so grateful for Annie because she has accomplished so much for me in just one weekend that it feels like a dream I’m so grateful that Annie is just the horse she is and understands when I need her to go and work her hardest for me Erin Hajek

A very big thank you to Lacey Dunn for keeping me at our best 24/7 and always keeping Annie tuned up so she competes her best for me

thank you to all my sponsors

Miss Annie laying down a wonderful run tonight

We are sitting 1st with a 16.5 I’m just so happy to have the amazing horse to take me to wherever I need to be

This weekend is a very stressful weekend because this weekend decided if we are heading to the Lrca finals so it means we have to make every run count

Last night me and Annie hit a barrel so I knew I had to give it my all tonight and we drew bottom of the ground but it’s like Annie knows when I need her to take me to the top of the leaderboard and she always does

Thank you so much to everyone that’s helps me behind the scenes
